Position Description:

Skilled Sheet Metal Programmer/Operator needed to support our manufacturing operation for a well-established supplier of food service equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Program, setup and operate a variety of sheet metal fabrication equipment including but not limited to: NC Brakes, Lasers, and Punch Presses
• Work directly from engineering drawings/DXF files to produce one off production parts and occasional prototype parts
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day.

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience utilizing/programming various sheet metal machines and processes.
• Ability to perform physical work.
• Knowledge on basic computer skills required to log job transactions and inventory transactions using ERP system.
• Must be a team player and be able to work on multiple projects as assigned.
• Forklift training or willingness to train required.
• This is a union position so if selected one will need to join the union before starting.

Shift/Pay:

• Full time Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, pay $33.57 per hour; ability to work overtime as needed.
