The Opportunity

The Project & Quote Coordinator is a member of the Sales Execution team and is responsible for delivering on commercial sales and project commitments to customers. This role will be responsible for the quote to order cycle both as part of large project teams and for Contractor/Dealer orders and will interface with the Project Managers, Outside Sales, Product Quoters and Application Engineering group to ensure quote accuracy and timely quote turnaround. This role works closely with the Outside sales team to balance customer and commercial business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform product configuration, and review and analyze customer quote requirements to provide equipment quotations that meet defined customer requirements.
• Oversee and direct projects from Request for Quotation (RFQ) to On-site delivery of project; use Consolidated Quoting System (CQS) to produce RFQs.
• Effectively communicate and guide projects through the entire process.
• Analyze, manage, communicate, and mitigate risks from quote to delivery, using Salesforce (CRM) for documenting projects.
• Review quotes/projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Validate/Audit Project/Quotes are accurate and meet/exceed target margin expectations for respective markets/regions.
• Interface directly with the Customer/Dealers and all AGI functions to coordinate/execute Sales Execution activities.
• Apply the knowledge of AGI product lines to communicate detailed RFQ requirements.
• Work with Sales Execution team, Application Engineering, and product experts to address AGI product application concerns and interface with the Customer to provide technical engineering support and solution(s) that meet/exceed customer expectations.
• Work with AutoCad/Solidworks and system designers to develop project process flow diagrams, layout drawings, and equipment lists for quotation.
• Coordinate with appropriate functions for order fulfillment and project delivery.
• Participate and contribute to AGI 2.0 internal business development projects.
• Maintain file organization structure, participate in developing and maintaining project task boards using JIRA, and SharePoint sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Business or a related engineering field;
• 36 months of related experience.
• Must also have 36 months of experience with each of the following:
• Performing Product Configuration and reviewing and analyzing customer quote requirements to provide quotations that meet defined customer requirements.
• Preparing Requests for Quotation (RFQs) using CQS.
• Analyzing, managing, communicating, and mitigating risks related to equipment sales from quote to delivery.
• Working with system designers to develop project process flow diagrams, layout drawings, and equipment lists for quotation.
• Providing technical engineering support for products or tools.
• Using the following tools: Salesforce (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools to maintain costing and produce orders and documenting projects; JIRA for project issue tracking and scheduling; AutoCad/Solidworks to design process flows. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
