Job Title: Restaurant Server

Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly and energetic server to join our team at Joseon in Silverlake. As a server, you will play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and drinks, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude and escort them to their tables.
• Present the menu, answer questions, and offer recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring they meet the restaurant's quality and presentation standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or special requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Stay up-to-date with menu changes and restaurant promotions.
• Assist with other tasks as needed, such as bussing tables or restocking supplies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a strong customer service orientation.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
