POSITION OVERVIEW

Assists in the day-to-day activities of the maintenance operations by completing assigned tasks

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Completes lawn and plant care tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, and planting
• Completes assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and in accordance with company production rates and requirements
• Operates all landscaping equipment in accordance with manufacturer and safety standards
• Uses basic tools safely and properly, including by not limited to rakes, shovels, blowers, and weed eaters.
• Maintains a clean and safe work site including proper maintenance and care of all company equipment
• Works in a safe manner and reports any/all unsafe conditions to Crew Leader and/or Maintenance Department Manager
• Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
• Position may perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1 year landscape industry experience preferred, not required

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to perform all aspects of landscape tasks in a safe manner
• Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks
