Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fleet and Training Manager to oversee and optimize our fleet operations while ensuring the continuous development and training of our drivers. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing efficiency, safety, and performance within our transportation department. Pay Range of $17-20 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fleet Management:

• Develop and implement strategies to manage and maintain the company's fleet of vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety, emissions, and maintenance standards.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs, and minimize downtime.

2. Safety and Compliance:

• Maintain a strong focus on safety by ensuring drivers follow safety protocols and regulations..
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with transportation laws and regulations.

3. Driver Training and Development:

• Develop and implement training programs for new and existing drivers to enhance their skills and safety awareness.
• Conduct regular driver assessments and performance reviews.
• Provide coaching and feedback to drivers to improve their performance and adherence to company policies.
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.

4. Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, training sessions, and driver performance.
• Generate regular reports on fleet performance, training initiatives, and compliance.
