We are renovating our restaurant and will re-open it as an airy, beautiful café inspired by the vibrant flavors, warm hospitality and rich culture of the modern Indian table. We are looking for our next INDAY Hospitality leads whose mission is to make regulars feel like family and first-timers want to become regulars!

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an ideal role for a cashier or server with experience in high-volume fine casual restaurants or busy cafés (e.g., Daily Provisions, etc.)

As a Hospitality Lead you are much more than a cashier! You will guide our customers through our menu and help them in ordering their next favorite meal. In this role, you would have deep knowledge about our food and products, love to interact with and build connections with our customers, and be obsessed with creating opportunities to surprise and delight guests. • Demonstrate great work-ethic: You know the importance of being on time and following our policies around food quality, sanitation, and professionalism

SKILLS AND KEY REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service position at a restaurant or café (high volume fast casual or quick service preferred)
• Solid track record of success in previous assignments demonstrating upward career tracking
• Ability to work 8hr shifts with the ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time and to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 30 lbs as needed
• Strong communication skills, including fluency in English (Spanish a plus)
• DOH Food Safety Certificate a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
