Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design databases, perform data analysis, and generate reports. Your main focus will be job costing.
Duties:
- Analyze large datasets using statistical methods and data visualization tools
- Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and protocols for effective data analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover key insights and make informed recommendations
- Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics
Requirements:
- Must have two years experience with job costing
- Proven experience in data analysis with strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and vaticinate potential issues
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
