Laboratory Technician I

Responsibilities
- Disposing, sorting, storing, pulling, and accessioning specimens.
- Performing data entry, scanning, and storing specimens and paperwork.
- Inspecting incoming specimens for proper documentation and shipping
specifications.
- Reporting issues with incoming specimens to a Laboratory Technician II,
Laboratory Supervisor, and/or Laboratory Manager.
- Meeting a daily quota of specimens processed.
- Maintaining a clean workspace throughout each shift, and performing a full
cleanup at the end of each shift.
- Maintaining proper laboratory etiquette and attire.
- Maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications/Skills
- Understanding of cross-contamination and how to avoid it.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
