The Academy, a charter school in Westminster, is seeking accepting resumes for one full-time Special Education Paraprofessional to provide one on one support to an individual student with special needs. Must meet the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requirements the first year of employment. The requirements are an Associates college degree, OR, completion of 48 college semester hours, OR passing of the State CDE approved paraprofessional examination.

• Pay is commensurate with education and experience
• Hourly rate is $18.00 per hour
• Work hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• 2024/25 School Year,
• School year starts August 5, 2024; school year ends May 24, 2025
• Work student contact days plus 7 of the 9 professional development days.
• Additional workdays at the beginning and end of the school year may be required based on school needs.
• Responsibility to verify experience rests with employee
