The Heritage Companies is Hiring an Assistant Property Manager Near Rockland, MA

Assistant Property Manager needed for 130 unit upscale apartment community in Rockland. The property is a renovated factory with loft style features including exposed beams and brickwork. The community features a pool, fitness center, dog park, community room, and extra storage. Many of our residents have lived at the property for more than 5, even 10 years. This is a testament to their comfort and happiness at the property.

The Heritage Companies is a family owned multi-family developer, owner, and manager with over 700 units located in the towns of Quincy, Weymouth, Rockland, and Middleboro. We encourage our staff to take real estate courses in either property management or brokerage, which the company will pay for. If you have or would like to obtain your real estate license, you can work as a real estate agent under the company brokerage license while you are working full-time managing the property.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the management of the property
  • Supervise maintenance staff
  • Implement and delegate maintenance requests
  • Send out renewals
  • Schedule and conduct apartment tours
  • Create and sign leases and renewals
  • Work with Senior managers on rent commections
  • Oversee physcal disposition of the property
  • Maintain a positive image of the community

Experience:

  • Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager, or Leasing Associate: 1 year (Preferred)

Education: High School or equivalent (Required). Bachelor’s Degree in Management, marketing, or related field preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
