duties. Must be a team player, detailed and have a service-oriented attitude. Hours may
vary based on business needs. Position is on-call/temporary.
Responsibilities:
- Repairing, servicing, installing, inspecting and testing facility equipment including but not limited to life safety, heating, cooling, plumbing, ventilation, water, electrical and mechanical.
- Thoroughly repair, inspect service and maintain guest rooms and public areas according to standards.
- Report all follow up and pass on duties to Maintenance Manager.
- Always respond, in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner to guests, managers and fellow team members.
- Report all guest issues and complaints to management.
- Hospitality minded ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
- Trade of Vocation School graduate desired.
- 2 years minimum of work experience in building maintenance is required. Work experience in the hotel industry is preferred.
- Working knowledge of one or more trades is desired (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, A/C refrigeration, landscaping).
- Works well under pressure.
- Able to work flexible shifts including days and nights.
- Must be reliable and trustworthy.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to move at least 25lbs.
