Yantis Company is seeking an experienced hands-on EHSC Manager. The EHSC Manager will oversee and execute Yantis construction site safety inspections, maintenance shop inspections, vehicle safety program, incident response programs, and training programs.

The list below identifies the minimum requirements of the EHSC Manger's responsibilities. The list is not exhaustive, and additional responsibilities may be required.

1. The Yantis Company workdays are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM including some late-night work and occasional weekends.

2. To be successful in this position the person must be knowledgeable of the requirements of Title 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, and additionally have a deep understanding of Title 29 CFR 1926 Subparts P and Q.

3. The successful person must be knowledgeable in Title 49 CFR Parts 300 to 399.

4. The candidate must have an understanding of the construction job site inspection, documentation, and correction process.

5. The candidate must be able to employ root cause analysis techniques for use in accident/incident prevention.

6. The candidate will possess a working knowledge of Texas workers compensation, auto insurance, and liability insurance requirements.

7. The candidate will have the ability to coach individuals in applicable safety requirements as needed to reach Yantis safety and compliance goals.

8. The successful person must have a clean driving record and be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.

9. The candidate will have a working knowledge of all applicable environmental, environmental health, safety, and insurance requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
