Summary

• The Guest Service Coordinator will focus on enhancing the guest experience by promoting special amenities and touches the hotel provides it’s VIPS & high paying guests.
• The GSC will assist to promote and implement amenity packages offered by the hotel. The GSC will coordinate delivery of these packages with the hotel’s Butlers.
• The GSC will ensure the hotel’s recognition program for our guests is alive and active in celebrating and acknowledging guests celebrating their milestone birthdays, wedding, honeymoons, etc.
• The GSC will assist to promote The Chatwal Wellness Center by highlighting our pool and jacuzzi services, massage and other specialty treatments, as well as the fitness center with our Chatwal Club members and esteemed guests.
• The GSC will assist guests traveling with pets in coordination with our Butlers to ensure our furry friends have a personalized stay with suitable pet amenities such as: dog beds, water/ food bowls, gourmet treats, and assorted toys, etc.,
• The GSC will also assist our guests traveling with children by providing suitable amenities such as: toys, healthy snacks/ treats as well as coordinate children experiences in coordination with our Butlers and Concierge teams.
• The GSC will assist the Housekeeping department with ensuring VIP arrivals are prepared with proper amenities and preferences.
• The GSC will assist the Front Office department in overseeing VIP arrivals, to ensure all pertinent information is updated in guest profiles accordingly.
• The GSC will assist with preparing daily welcome cards as necessary in coordination with Butlers and implement daily guests’ arrival welcome amenities.

The GSC will assist in implementing the Chatwal Chimes quarterly e-newsletter and the monthly Chatwal chronicle e- newsletter as directed in coordination with the Concierge and Front Office team.

Qualifications
Demonstrated strong collaboration and teamwork between departments, with a focus on the Front Office, Housekeeping and Sales Departments.
Demonstrated experience with Opera system and Windows software (ex: Work, Excel, and Outlook)
Excellent analytical and organizations skills; must be detail oriented
College course work in related field helpful.
Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred. Hotel experience: 1 year preferred
High School diploma or equivalent required. Preferred degree in Hospitality Managemen
Computer experience required.
Customer Services experience preferred.
Demonstrated exceptional service in an elegant environment.
Ability to always display a high level of professionalism when engaging with guests and fellow colleagues.
Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.

Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
