Introduction:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to join our crew and learn a unique and rewarding trade. As a professional Garage Door Technician you will remove and install garage doors and openers, troubleshoot, repair, service and maintain existing systems. You will also reframe openings, convert track systems to accommodate car lifts, and a variety of other interesting projects. On any given day you could be on a big install with the whole crew, doing multiple service calls all over Western CT, or carefully removing a destroyed door that a car just drove through. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, experience with tools, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Install Garage doors and Openers

• Troubleshoot and repair Garage doors and Openers

• Keep vehicles maintained, stocked, and clean

• Take accurate notes and pictures of jobs and keep records up to date

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

• Communicate with our customers in a professional, friendly way

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in carpentry or other trade a plus

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a must
