Pediatric Nurse Manager (Outpatient clinic)

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (No weekends)

Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000 per year (Based on experience)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Nurse Manager to join our team. The Nurse Manager will play a vital role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and support a team of medical professionals in delivering high-quality pediatric care.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise all medical assistants and other Pediatric Nurses.
  • Ensure adequate staffing of medical assistants during every clinical session.
  • Provide clinical support on days with anticipated short staffing.
  • Conduct ongoing training and quality assurance of medical assistant competencies.
  • Onboard and train new staff members.
  • Maintain personnel files and conduct annual competency reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, VFC, HRSA, Title X, PCMH, and other federal and state provisions.
  • Coordinate and monitor inventory and supply ordering, including the maintenance of clinic medical equipment.
  • Collaborate with nursing to ensure appropriate medical supplies are ordered.
  • Participate in regular meetings with other clinicians, Practice Manager, Administrative Director, and Medical Director to address management issues and quality assurance.
  • Lead daily huddles to review staffing and patient care coordination.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Previous experience in pediatric nursing or management preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care to pediatric patients.
