The Senior Managers of Visual Marketing spearhead the dynamic development and seamless execution of visual and in-store marketing strategies across all existing and new stores within designated formats. These pivotal role encompass the crafting and implementation of captivating print, digital and visual direction, setting impeccable visual presentation standards that elevate the brand experience.

What You'll Do

  • Lead both the creative direction and operational aspects of the assigned division, overseeing visual and in-store marketing initiatives.
  • Spearhead the strategy and execution of internal creative design services, encompassing signage, branding, and graphic design.
  • Tasked with delivering precise guidance and meticulously proofreading visual marketing directives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Executive, Merchandising, Store Design, Construction, and Operation teams, ensuring alignment with operational goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive ideation and copywriting for print and digital projects, leading by example in creative excellence.
  • Adapt leadership style to mentor teams of various levels, fostering an environment conducive to producing exceptional work.
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects, seamlessly transitioning between tasks while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Provide oversight and approval of work from direct reports, maintaining alignment with the overall creative vision.
  • Lead window installations and in-store displays, enhancing brand presence and customer engagement.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Visual Merchandising Manual and digital training program, ensuring adherence to store standards.
  • Establish departmental policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), fostering operational efficiency and excellence.
  • Spearhead the design and procurement of fixtures and visual displays, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and goals.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team on supplier income-based programs, maximizing revenue opportunities.
  • Partner with the Visual NSO team to implement new fixtures, programs, or signage for new or remodeled stores.
  • Manage all aspects of graphic design, communications, and branding, maintaining brand consistency and integrity.
  • Fulfill supervisory duties, including hiring, firing, performance management, and coaching of departmental staff.
  • Uphold the mission, vision, core values, and organizational health of the company in all interactions and initiatives.
  • To conduct him/herself in the spirit of the MRG mission, vision, core values and organizational health
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

What You Bring

  • AA or BA degree in a related field, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in visual merchandising and marketing.
  • 8 years of extensive experience spearheading creative teams in visual merchandising presentation and in-store marketing design within the corporate retail realm.
  • 2 years of expertise in guiding both static and dynamic digital design initiatives
  • Proficient in various software applications: Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In-Design, Sketchup) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Showcase a proven track record in managing visual and in-store marketing across diverse retail sectors, including gift, souvenir, consumables, fashion, and tech retail.
  • Demonstrate a remarkable ability to inspire and develop staff, ensuring the execution of high-level visual marketing standards.
  • Excel in creating, planning, and executing visual marketing standards across multi-store locations and formats.
  • Possess adept coordination skills to orchestrate merchandise presentation programs and inter-department displays seamlessly.
  • Exhibit a keen understanding of fiscal planning, tracking, and reporting, accrued over 3 years of hands-on experience.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, showcasing a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Master the art of overseeing numerous projects concurrently, showcasing exceptional conceptual and strategic thinking skills.
