GP Landscape is Hiring a Shop Technician Near Sacremento, CA
We are a leading company in the landscape industry, seeking a dedicated Shop Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background, with a focus on Medium and Heavy-Duty Ford trucks. This role requires regular attendance, the ability to work Saturdays, and the physical capacity to lift heavy objects. Our company prides itself on maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment, and the Shop Technician will play a key role in upholding these standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including general clean-up, parts stocking, and clutter removal.
- Conduct building maintenance and other jobs as assigned.
- Ensure shop cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Work outside in all weather conditions and be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally work at other branch locations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of mechanical experience.
- Basic working knowledge of Medium and Heavy-Duty Ford trucks.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of IDS.
- Experience with landscape trailer repair and small field tools (gasoline and battery operated) is desired.
- Past mechanical and maintenance experience is preferred.
