Create effective marketing copy for company websites, blog posts, content pages, social media posts, and paid advertising.
Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action.
Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand.
Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging.
Conduct research on a wide variety of topics to be able to produce good marketing content.
Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands.
Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings.
Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials.
Edit content received to smooth out language and make the content more engaging. (You will be trained on how to optimize content for search engines.)
Collaborate with a team of digital marketing experts and creative staff from concept development to delivery of the final product.
Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team.
Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction.
Reports to the Director of Digital Marketing.
Exceptional writing and research skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Social media or content marketing experience a plus
Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides are a plus.
A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design.
Flexible schedules to work around school, other jobs, etc.
Write engaging copy for numerous brands, and help direct the content marketing efforts to drive traffic and engagement.
Learn how to execute content marketing for SEO and other purposes.
