Engineering Manager

This individual is responsible for a wide variety of tasks which would include many aspects of custom equipment projects. The primary focus will be assigning tasks to engineering and technical personnel, overseeing project logistics and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule. This individual may be required to help perform engineering duties to expand capacity during busy periods or help other business facets in times of need. This position requires a highly detailed individual that possesses strong mechanical skills, communication, and organizational skills.

Duties include:

· Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to staff

· Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting engineering

· Develop project timelines and communicate with customers

· Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff

· Review designs for manufacturability and functionality

· Assure products meet quality and safety standards

· Hire, train, and assess the performance of staff

· Perform engineering duties to develop new products or technical solutions

· Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional team members

· Technical competencies in manufacturing

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other industry software

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering preferred

· Prior management experience is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,984.00 - $100,000.00 per year
