You support the business by helping execute FP&A processes to develop the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and provide variance analysis of actuals vs forecast/budget. You ensure that Harmon delivers results by turning data into information that can be used to enhance our operational and financial performance. The ideal candidate will exhibit intellectual curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Deliver value by helping execute the key stages of the FP&A cycle, mastering tools and processes, and providing variance analysis for actuals vs forecast/budget.
Support the forecast and budget cycles by mastering the tools we leverage and emphasizing attention to detail to help produce an accurate & timely forecast
Provide monthly variance analysis vs. forecast/budget to identify misses and areas of risk & opportunity so business partners can better manage their operating units
Combine traditional accounting and finance skills with an interest in learning new skills/technologies to provide analytics that deliver timely insights
EXPERIENCE
What you need to be successful
Minimum of bachelor's degree, a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred
0-2 years of related work experience in a Corporate Finance / FP&A role
