Responsible for following the department's infection control procedures to handle, store, process and transport linens so as to prevent the spread ofinfection
Maintains clean and safe work area, including mopping daily, cleaning lint screen on dryer, dusting machine and cleaning hamper bags
Check name on resident clothing to make sure it is legible and if not, ensures proper measures are taken to rewrite name
And other duties
Qualifactions:
Ability to understand and interpret policies and procedures, emergency procedures and hazard communiction procedures
high school education or GED
Sufficient verbal and written communication skills to perform the task required
