Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle potentially stressful situations with professionalism.
Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals on-site
- Monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
- Possession of a valid security license is required
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques and the ability to deescalate potentially volatile situations
- CPR and first aid certification is a plus
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
