**Responsibilities: **
- Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Perform expanded functions such as taking dental impressions, placing and removing rubber dams, and applying topical anesthetics, cementing crowns, completing composite fillings.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Uphold infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.
**Requirements: **
- Valid Dental Assistant with Extended Functions 2 certification.
- Prior experience working in a dental office preferred.
- Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Spanish speaking a plus.
