Position : PeopleSoft HR Techno Functional Consultant

A PeopleSoft HR Techno Functional Consultant plays a critical role in implementing and maintaining PeopleSoft Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS) for organizations. Here's a breakdown of the typical job description for this role:
1. PeopleSoft Implementation and Configuration:
Lead or participate in the implementation of PeopleSoft HRMS modules.
Configure PeopleSoft HR modules according to business requirements.
Customize and extend PeopleSoft functionality through PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, and other development tools.
2. Functional Expertise:
Understand and analyze HR business processes and requirements.
Provide guidance to business stakeholders on best practices for utilizing PeopleSoft HRMS modules.
Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where PeopleSoft functionality needs customization or enhancement.
3. Technical Expertise:
Develop and maintain customizations, interfaces, and reports using PeopleSoft development tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PeopleSoft HRMS modules.
Collaborate with technical teams for integrations with other systems.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance:
Develop test plans and test cases for PeopleSoft HRMS modules.
Conduct functional and integration testing to ensure system integrity.
Work with business users to perform user acceptance testing (UAT).
5. Documentation and Training:
Document functional and technical designs, configurations, and customizations.
Provide training and support to end-users on PeopleSoft HRMS modules.
Create user manuals and training materials as needed.
6. Project Management:
Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation.
Track and report project progress, risks, and issues related to PeopleSoft HRMS implementation.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
7. Continuous Improvement:

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience in implementing and supporting PeopleSoft HRMS modules.
Strong understanding of HR business processes and practices.
Proficiency in PeopleSoft development tools such as PeopleCode, Application Engine, and Component Interface.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Project management experience and certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
