Description
The Jenkins Living Center Physical Therapist is responsible to evaluate residents and develop physical therapy treatment programs in collaboration with the physician and provides physical therapy treatments to residents. Administers complex active and passive therapeutic exercise, therapeutic massage, and various modalities. Instructs, motivates, and assists residents/caregivers in learning and improving activities of daily living. Supervises and directs the efforts of the Physical Therapy Assistant.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current license by the State of South Dakota
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1 year in Physical Therapy; prior geriatric experience preferred.
