Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team. The RVT will play a crucial role in assisting our veterinarians, providing top-notch care to our animal patients, and supporting our clients with their pet healthcare needs. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for animal welfare, excellent technical skills, and a warm and empathetic approach to client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
  • Perform various technical procedures including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiography, anesthesia monitoring, and dental prophylaxis.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as directed by veterinarians.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information.
  • Provide compassionate care to both animal patients and their owners, addressing client concerns and offering educational guidance.
  • Participate in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the clinic and equipment.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license.
  • Graduation from an accredited Veterinary Technician program.
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary medical procedures, techniques, and terminology.
  • Proficiency in technical skills including venipuncture, radiography, anesthesia monitoring, and dental procedures.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both with clients and within the team.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathetic, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to animal care.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices.

Our clinic has all the equipment you need to practice quality medicine and patient care. Utilize your RVT skills using multi modal anesthetic monitors including capnography, deliver CRIs via syringe pumps, perform dental x-rays and scaling, run in house lab tests using analyzers and AI technology, hands-free radiographs, patient care, treatments, client education and more. Training is provided if these skills are new to you.
