PREREQUISITES

Education : High school diploma or equivalent

Competent in :

• Basic Math Skills (Adding, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division)
• Memorizing (Sandwich) Formulas
• Basic Computer Skills
• Learning New Skills

Experience : Experience in a restaurant operation (preferably with supervisory experience).

Availability : We are offering part time. (Full time is a possibility at a later date.)

Must be able to :

• work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.)
• show up for all your scheduled shifts on time.
• abide by your availability discussed when hired.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members.

Physical : This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday.

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system / cash register. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of :

• Managing a staff of 6-8 including assigning and evaluating work
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with inventory as needed
• You will receive training on your roles and responsibilities
