Job Summary:

We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily operations at our properties, ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction and property performance.

Duties:

- Assist in leasing activities including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements

- Handle tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally

- Support property maintenance efforts by coordinating repairs and maintenance requests

- Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards

- Assist with rent collection and financial reporting

- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently

- Support the Property Manager in administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining records

Experience:

- Previous experience in property management or real estate preferred

- Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is a plus

- Knowledge of property leasing processes and procedures

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive tenant relationships

- Understanding of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and Section-8 program is advantageous

- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems

- Ability to handle contracts and agreements effectively

- Basic knowledge of property maintenance practices

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
