The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for all aspects of Inventory Control, including ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping parts and products for the facility. The inventory control manager will document and manage all inventory control processes, including continuous improvement of inventory processes and ensuring accurate customer inventory control. The Inventory Control Manager will work closely with Operations and Quality managers on inventory processes and improvements. This role reports to the Director of Operations.

- Establishes and implements inventory control policies and procedures to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Documents, inputs, manages and audits all WMS system transactions. Maintain accuracy of data in
WMS system.
- Coordinates and manages supplier and customer delivery schedules.
- Regularly audits physical inventory, completes reconciliation investigations, identifies root causes
and takes corrective actions on variances.
- Partners with internal and external customers, communicates and provides daily inventory reports.
- Develops, executes and manages a cycle count program.
- Manages physical inventories and coordinates with the customer to ensure completion as
scheduled.
- Manages material shortages to ensure appropriate action is taken when material arrives, including
receipt hold tracking and resolution.
- Documents and investigates any material issues and communicate accordingly.
- Responsible for warehouse ordering to include supplies ordering and vendor management
- Routinely demonstrates and creates a safe and positive work culture. Encourages and builds positive
relationships and communicates effectively with all co-workers, customers and outside vendors.
- Supports Department Managers with compliance and enforcement of all standard safety practices.
- Supports Department Managers with maintaining an organized and clean work environment in
compliance with 6s workplace organizational standards.

The employee is frequently required to walk and occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The associate may occasionally be required to lift 51 pounds, anything greater than 51 pounds requires assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work EnvironmentThe warehouse environment is subject to seasonal temperatures and regular exposure to forklift traffic. Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and vests are required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkFull Time. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required.
TravelSome travel may be required between locations.
Required Education and Experience- High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of inventory control and/or production scheduling experience is necessary.
- Experience with WMS systems required.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and proven safety record.
- Knowledge of ISO quality systems.
