Serve guests water upon their arrival, and provide refills as needed. Remove used tableware between courses; clear and reset tables after guests leave.
Activities & Responsibilities :
Primary

•Promptly greet guests as they are seated with water (check with server to see if bottled water has been upsold to table.)
•Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course.
•Clear tables after guests.
•Between seating, promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop.
•Take soiled tableware to dish room and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in designated areas in the soiled dish drop off area.
•Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties to facilitate customer service.
•Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate guest requests to server as needed.
•Communicate with server and host or hostess to expedite efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
•Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
•Thank guests as they are leaving
•Carry food, dishes, trays, or silverware from kitchens or supply areas to serving counters.
•Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove trash.
•Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays.
•Inspect assigned restroom every 20 minutes, and clean as needed.
•Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
•Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
•Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
•Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
•No previous restaurant experience required.
•Be able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop.
•Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
•Must have the ability to multi-task.
•Develop competent and agreeable work ethic.
•Interact with all guests and employees with respect, professional pleasantries, and courtesies.
•Embrace supervisory directions.
•Maintain a positive attitude and a commitment to professional growth and personal development.
