Job: Operations Associate - Trucking
Job Description:Become a part of the daily operations team of a nationwide flatbed trucking company. Use critical thinking, customer service initiatives, and on-the-fly decision-making, to provide productive, efficient, and profitable transportation solutions to our customers.
Job Description:Become a part of the daily operations team of a nationwide flatbed trucking company. Use critical thinking, customer service initiatives, and on-the-fly decision-making, to provide productive, efficient, and profitable transportation solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and coordinate all types of communications with drivers, terminals, customers, and TMS systems, to maximize load capacity on a daily basis.
- Update the operating system to keep real-time updates for loads throughout our operating areas.
- Guide, supervise, motivate, and evaluate drivers' daily performance, with the goal of providing the best customer service for every load.
- Establish and maintain productive working relationships with drivers, company employees and departments, terminals, and most importantly with our customers.
- Load input, updates, and prioritizing coverage to determine which loads are to be moved on an ongoing basis.
- Communicates with management and other departments or offices, to ensure the most productive workflow throughout our operating system, and advise of any changes or situations that arise.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or beyond.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to work alone or with a team.
- Able to multi-task and make decisions.
- Dependable with proven work history.
- Able to work 10 hours shifts (including 1 hr lunch break).
- Ability to cross-train and take on varied roles.
Pay/Benefits:
- $50,000/YR with opportunities for review/advancement.
