As a Pesticide Technician, you will be responsible for applying pesticides and herbicides on clients’ properties. You will work closely with our landscaping team to ensure the health and beauty of lawns, gardens, and other outdoor spaces while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine inspections of clients’ properties to identify pest and weed infestations.
2. Mix and apply pesticides and herbicides according to product instructions and safety protocols.
3. Operate and maintain spraying equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
4. Keep accurate records of pesticide applications, including dates, locations, and quantities used.
5. Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment plans, address concerns, and provide recommendations for ongoing pest and weed management.
6. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices for pesticide application and safety.
7. Collaborate with landscaping team members to coordinate treatment schedules and ensure efficient service delivery.
8. Follow all safety procedures to minimize risks to yourself, colleagues, clients, and the environment.
9. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to pesticide application and landscaping practices.
10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and disposal of pesticides and related materials.
