That’s over 95 years of experience!What You Will GetYou receive your wage rate, healthcare benefits, and retirement through Local 208 union.1st year: $22.25/hr2nd year: $24.48/hr3rd year: $26.70/hr4th year: $31.15/hr5th year: $37.83/hrBell offers additional benefits, including:Uniforms, cell phone, tabletCompany-paid gym membershipWarehouse with support to avoid needless trips to supply housesWhat You Will Do:Install HVAC-related equipment following Bell’s policies and manufacturer’s specificationsCarry out the wiring of both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipmentInstall copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and solderingInstall flex and sheet metal duct systemsEnsure connection of gas lines to heating equipment is properly doneDetermine the right material needed for installation work by pre-measuring jobsReceive all materials and equipment required for each job, confirm, and load them into company vehicleProvide necessary support to other team members to be able to complete tasks on time as instructed by managementCreate and maintain cordial and collaborative working relationships with both superiors and co-workersEnsure all paperwork needed for each job is accurately filled outCarry out readings on machines with a full understanding of the implication of such readingsEnsure assigned company vehicle is kept cleanPerform any other duty that may be directed by managementMinimum Job Requirements:Interest in learning HVAC through hands-on learningPossess high school diploma or GED or equivalentAbility to operate in heat and cold for a long period of timeAbility to lift heavy items weighing safelyAbility to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, or/and kneel continuallyPreferred Job Requirements:1 year experience as HVAC installerEligibility for employment at Bell Plumbing & Heating is contingent upon a background check that does not contain a conviction(s) of a felony(ies) within the last 5 (five) years from the date of background check.Since this position will be driving a company-provided vehicle, a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) does not contain any of the following in the last 5 (five) years from the date of the MVR check:Driving under the influence of drugs or alcoholVehicular manslaughterUsing a vehicle to commit a felonyHit and run/leaving the scene of an accidentFleeing/eluding police or resisting arrestReckless drivingSpeeding more than 15 mph over limitOpen container violationsOperating vehicles with a suspended/revoked licensePassing a stopped school busRailroad crossing violation
