Ellwood Texas Forge Houston is Hiring a Quality Inspector I Near Davison, MI

Do you have the experience and desire to truly impact our end product and ensure the customer gets what they required? In addition to having a minimum of 3 years of experience measuring parts of all sizes with tolerances of - 0.001, the right person will:

  • Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Ability to operate all inspection equipment such as but not limited to the following: Faro Arm, Micro Height, ID/OD micrometers, calipers
  • Read and interpret blueprints, standard operating procedures, and customer/regulatory requirements and inspect parts to these documents.
  • Ability to do machine set up verification and first article inspections of parts on the machines
  • Initiate non-conformance reports and any other quality records required by EMW, customers, and any third party agency.
  • Initiate corrective action request when conditions adverse to part quality re repetitive in nature.
  • Ability to perform all job duties of lower level inspections.
  • Assist in training of lower level employees.
  • Perform daily and regular cleaning in work area.
  • Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Bring problems to the attention of Managers, Supervisors, and Group Leaders.
  • Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.


Education

Preferred
  • High School or better in Unspecified
  • Other Training or better in Quality Assurance
