Fieldpiece is hiring a Project Manager to join our growing team! You’ll work with internal teams and external suppliers to plan, prioritize, and manage product development projects from concept through launch. You'll ensure resources are effectively managed, problems are solved, projects are completed, and KPIs are met. You have an engineering background, understand the product development life cycle, and can lead teams to bring new products to life in an OEM environment. What You'll Do

• Collaborate with internal and external resources to define, prioritize, plan, manage, and report on projects to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Develop and manage project governance plans, schedules, goals, success criteria, milestones, resources, and budgets.
• Establish data collection and reporting processes to capture key metrics of project activities and provide reports to stakeholders.
• Take ownership and responsibility for issue management, risks, decisions, and the overall success of a project with internal and external (suppliers) teams.
• Ensure all project-related documentation and deliverables are completed.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree - preferably in a STEM field.

• 3 years of project management experience.

• 3 years of mechanical, electrical, or design engineering experience.

• Experience with MS Project, Gantt charts, and Gate Phase methodology.

• Strategically minded analytical self-starter with the ability to schedule and manage multiple, simultaneous projects.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to keep projects moving forward.

• Ability to lead cross functional teams and manage resources by planning, organizing, scheduling, and coordinating the work of others.

• Ability to travel up to 15% - nationally and internationally.

The California base annual salary range for this role is currently $100,000 - $135,000 plus bonus. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
