• We are looking for an experienced & completely hands-on Azure Cognitive Services Architect / Azure OpenAI Technical Architect to design and implement Generative AI solutions on Microsoft Azure leveraging Azure OpenAI.
• The Architect will lead Generative AI projects to build natural language processing, text/content generation, computer vision, speech, and machine learning capabilities using Azure OpenAI GPT-4 & other open source LLMs

• Design NextGen (RAG , Autogen, Task weaver etc.) solutions with GenAi models to solve business and customer problems. This includes selecting appropriate services like Text Analytics, Computer Vision, Speech Service, etc. based on use cases.
• This role required deep Core Python expertise to build complex backends and model I/O tools (This is not a data science role)
• Key responsibility is to build prototypes of complex backends and Python OOP based applications
• Build text to text and text to image generation applications based on Azure OpenAI models (e.g. DaVinci and Dall-E)
• Develop proof of concepts and prototypes to demonstrate Azure Cognitive Services solutions. Work with developers to build production-ready systems.
• Keep up to date with the latest Azure Cognitive Services releases and features. Continuous learning about natural language processing, computer vision, deep learning, and AI.
• Provide technical guidance and lead other data scientists and developers building AI applications on Azure.
• Architect end-to-end solutions including integration with other Azure data and analytics services like Azure Databricks, Azure Storage, Azure SQL DB, etc.

• Must have: Flask / Django / Fast API development expertise with least 2-3 project delivered as a developer.
• Must have: Deep expertise in Prompt Injection Fallback implementation using LLMGUARD and PyRIT etc. Role will need this implementation to be done right after joining the project
• Must have: Core Python – Iterators, Generators, OOP concepts, Python Shell (REPL) and Object Relational Mapper, Data structure and Exception handling etc.
• Must have: Complex Scenario Knowledge: Contemporary Python Libraries for LM orchestration e.g. Lang Chain / Llama index and Autogen etc.
• Must have: Azure or AWS expertise in terms of building and deploying AI apps using cloud services
• Hands-on and experiential expertise in building apps leveraging Azure OpenAI models e.g. Dall-E , DaVinci and ada etc.
• Hands-on experience with fine-tuning and customizing Azure OpenAI Models
• Expertise in Prompt Engineering using Microsoft tools (e.g. Prompt Flow)
• Implementation expertise in Large Language Models, preferably Azure OpenAI
• Experience with integrating Azure Cognitive Services into applications and websites via REST APIs or SDKs. Using the services from Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.
• Knowledge of natural language processing, computer vision techniques, deep learning, and machine learning. Understand concepts like convolutional neural networks, recurrent neural networks, embeddings, etc.
• Expertise in multiple Azure Cognitive Services such as:

1. Text Analytics: For natural language processing, key phrase extraction, sentiment analysis, etc.
2. Computer Vision: Object detection, facial recognition, optical character recognition, etc.
3. Speech Service: Speech to text, text to speech, speech translation, etc.
4. Form Recognizer: Extract text, key/value pairs and tables from documents.
5. Personalizer: Improve customer experiences with web personalization.
6. Proficiency in building models with Azure Cognitive Services Custom Vision service. Ability to train custom image classification and object detection models.
7. Adhere to security, privacy, and compliance standards when building Azure Cognitive Services solutions.
8. Communicate with key stakeholders and give presentations on Azure AI solutions. Work with product management and business teams to understand business needs and priorities.
9. Stay up to date with competitive AI platforms from other cloud providers. Make recommendations on opportunities to improve Azure Cognitive Services.

• 8 years of experience with building and deploying AI, machine learning and neural network models in production environments.
• Expertise in Python, C#, JavaScript or other programming languages used to integrate with Azure Cognitive Services.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of natural language processing, computer vision, deep learning concepts and neural networks.
• Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer certification preferred.
• Exposure to Azure OpenAI and Microsoft Azure Hugging Face Inference API will be a plus
• Expertise in implementation of Azure API management tools
• Expertise in implementation of Azure Content Moderation service
• Expertise in Azure Cognitive Search especially with indexing document libraries such as SharePoint etc.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. MS in Data Science or other quantitative field a plus.
