The Goodkind Group is Hiring a Follow Up Auditor - Medical Near Farmingdale, NY
Job Description
We are seeking a Follow-Up Auditor to work for a Medical Management company in the Farmingdale/Melville area. Qualified candidates will have 1 year of experience, the ability to work Monday – Friday 8a-5p and experience with following up on appeals.
Duties:
· Perform A/R Follow-up and analysis from third party payers to maximize revenue collections.
· Follow up on Accounts receivables transfers
· Follow up on appeal status – for appeals of Managed Care medical necessity denials
· Review monthly aged trail balance reports
· Work on a minimum of 30 accounts per day
· Submit appeals to third party payers
· Other duties as assigned by Management
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Minimum 1 year experience, preferred Healthcare
· Bachelors Degree preferred
· Computer literacy
