Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments to identify clients' skills, interests, and career goals - Provide career counseling and guidance to individuals seeking employment or career advancement - Assist clients in developing resumes, cover letters, and job search strategies - Educate clients on labor market trends, employment opportunities, and industry-specific requirements - Collaborate with employers to identify job openings and facilitate job placements - Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to enhance interview skills - Develop and deliver workshops on topics such as resume writing, networking, and interview techniques - Provide ongoing support and follow-up services to ensure client success in their chosen careers - Stay up-to-date with employment labor laws and regulations Experience: - Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, or related field (Master's degree preferred) - Proven experience in career advising or related field - Knowledge of training development principles and practices - Familiarity with addiction counseling and resources is a plus - Experience mentoring individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is an asset - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Proficient in conducting assessments and interpreting results - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team We offer competitive compensation packages including benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
