LE0002 U.S. Urology Partners, LLC is Hiring a Remote Accounts Receivable

About the Role To be considered a qualified candidate, must have knowledge of CPT surgical coding and ICD10 diagnostic coding. A minimum of two years of related medical coding experience including one year of surgery coding preferably in an Orthopedic surgery setting. What You’ll Be Doing Work assigned AR each day for resolution, being mindful of turn-around times, AR trends, and large variances in charge/tickler volume. Process insurance denials and appeals to ensure timely account resolution. Identify denial trends and determine process changes to prevent future denials. Work with other teams to address editing, coding and payment related issues. Work with patients to resolve billing questions Maintain compliance according to government insurance regulations and managed care contractual obligations. Maintain regulatory compliance by staying abreast of current trends and regulations in the financial and healthcare industries. Promote a culture that reflects the organization’s values, encourages good performance, and enhances productivity. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.•Other related duties as required What We Expect from You High School Graduate or equivalent Minimum of three (3) years related coding or medical billing experience is required. CPC preferred Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have thorough knowledge in computer information systems.
