Description
Basic Accountability Statement:
The In-Home RBT will provide one on one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and to reduce challenging behaviors to children across all environments. RBT’s will use interventions written by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Job Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for the implementation of unique behavior plans developed by the BCBA for each individual learner.
- Data collection and session note submission.
- Collaborate with peers and supervisors.
- Participate regularly in staff meetings and trainings.
- Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
- Experience of working with children, adolescents with special needs is preferred.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Recognizing and teaching in the moment skills that are required to promote treatment integrity, progress, and RBT skill development.
- Responsible for helping to foster a positive environment.
Position Requirements:
- Have a valid RBT Certification
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must have the desire to work with young children with behavioral challenges.
- Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have a desire for continued learning opportunities and a willingness to embrace instruction and feedback.
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal history background check.
- Must have reliable transportation and proof of driver’s license and valid car insurance.
- RBT certified, First Aid certified, and CPR certified.

Working Environment:
This job operates in an in-home environment. Travel between clinics may be required if RBT is servicing more than one clinic.

- Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25lbs are also required.
