As an IT Facilities Team Lead, the individual will be responsible for managing and coordinating activities for a team of analysts for the Joint Service Provider (JSP) Infrastructure Support Services Work Center (ISSWC). In this role, the Team Lead will oversee IT the ISSWC operations, which include 24x7x365 IT infrastructure monitoring, access provisioning, surveillance, escorts, and configuration management within JSP server rooms and telecommunication closets. RESPONSIBILITIES * Serves as the team lead for all activities performed by the ISSWC analysts * Ensures that all customer inquiries and issues are addressed and meet contract service level metrics * Provides oversight for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to ensure contractual deliverables are met * Plans and prepares team schedule coverage and approve team leaves * Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots surveillance equipment throughout the government site * Opens tickets through the BMC Remedy system to track work being performed, as well as incidents * Works with JSP government customers to make updates to report templates and data as needed * Monitors surveillance cameras in server rooms to ensure all tenant activities are within DoD and JSP guidelines * Provides oversight to all server room and telecommunication room operations and ensures that all work has been authorized by the government * Supports all authorized and emergency power and HVAC outages at the Pentagon and Mark Center. This is includes occasional work on weekends and after hours. * Opens conference lines during planned and unplanned outages and creates action reports to document successes and lessons learned during maintenance activities * Operates and maintains rack surveillance system including creating/running reports, generating new accounts, granting access to groups and/or individuals, removing users, and setting account expiration dates * Escorts JSP and Support Agencies within server rooms and telecommunication closets, when needed. * Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office Required Qualifications/Education and Experience * High School diploma or equivalent with eight (8) or more years of specialized experience in related field * Three (3) or more years' experience leading and managing diverse teams of five or more people * Must be familiar with JSP or other DoD policies and procedures * Experience troubleshooting IT applications (surveillance and security system experience preferred) * Must have knowledge of BMC Remedy Ticketing System * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel and SharePoint * Prior experience creating shift schedules and managing team leaves * Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple projects * Must have strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to anticipate problems & take decisive action * Must have and maintain an active Secret personnel clearance Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree (preferably in Information Technology, Information Management or Computer Science) with three or more years of directly related experience * Experience working in a facilities mission critical environment * Familiar with Cisco and Avigilon cameras * Familiarity working with the BMC Remedy Ticketing System * Active Security Certification * A Top Secret or SCI personnel clearance is preferred Additional Information * This position requires being on-site daily * Scheduled working hours are: Monday - Friday: 700 - 1500.
