THIS IS A FULL-TIME, YEAR ROUND POSITION WORKING ON MACKINAC ISLAND

Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands’ only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Accounting Clerk. This full time/year round position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will have at least one year of administrative/office experience, possess an upbeat leadership style, and have experience working in a multi-cultural environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the Accounting Clerk is to ensure that the highest standards for payments and receivables are consistently maintained within the department. This individual will ensure that all requests are responded to promptly, and will perform a variety of activities to ensure a consistent process within Accounting and all departments. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.

Skills/Abilities/Education:

Previous experience in Accounting Department preferable

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business preferred

Working knowledge of Rooms Management Systems, Accounting Systems

Working knowledge of Accounting processes and procedures

Ability to work on Mackinac Island year-round
