EMS Scheduling Manager
The EMS Scheduling Manager develops and implements all aspects of daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for field personnel within the organization.
T HE EMS SCHEDULING MANAGER WILL:
The EMS Scheduling Manager develops and implements all aspects of daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for field personnel within the organization.
T HE EMS SCHEDULING MANAGER WILL:
- W ork with the Operations Manager in coordinating staffing needs.
- Coordinate daily schedules and assignments and briefs Supervisors of schedule changes
- Create deployment plans based on anticipated needs
- Other scheduling duties as needed including scheduling the ride-along program for new employees and students.
- We believe EMS professionals deserve to use the best equipment available.
- Our box-style (Type III) ambulances utilize state-of-the-art technology, including the Stryker Power-LOAD system & Zoll X-Series cardiac monitors.
- MedEx was the first ambulance service in the country to use telemedicine as an ambulance provider
- With a fleet of over 80 vehicles, MedEx utilizes ALS, BLS, & Critical Care/RN ambulances, Paramedic Chase Cars, Supervisor Response Vehicles, and service cars.
- MedEx services hundreds of outstanding healthcare facilities throughout the Chicagoland area, including Lurie Children's Hospital, University of Chicago Medicine, UI Health, and Swedish Hospital, part of NorthShore, to name a few.
- EMS background (required)
- One year of medical-related clerical experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with individuals using multiple platforms
- Knowledge of computerized scheduling system or ability to participate in training
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions.
