Primary Activities & Responsibilities

• Managing food tickets in an organized and efficient manner.
• Providing the kitchen with verbal cues and communication to effectively get orders to the correct guests.
• Ensuring quality plating in presentation as well as execution
• Verbally gathering other team members to send food to the correct table as well as table postion.
• Occasionally engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.
• Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them.
• Manage the communication between FOH staff and the lead Chef in the kitchen.
• A knowledge of the menu.
• Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
• Keeping the management and kitchen up to date on any changes or special requests.
• Assist with the cleanliness of the expo window.
• Be an active part of the Urban Wren team, fostering and encouraging the desired culture.
• Promote quality product quality and a unique guest experience at every opportunity.
• Take pride in the overall look and feel of the restaurant and event space.
• Maintain a refreshing attitude focused on positive and friendly interactions.

Requirements

• Ability to provide top notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
• Does high-quality work while unsupervised.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
• Able to work in a busy restaurant environment.
