Description

We seek a highly skilled Level III Software Developer who specializes in building scalable, high-performance applications using Javascript, NodeJS, and AWS technologies such as DynamoDB, Lambda, and EC2. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining applications on the AWS platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement applications using AWS technologies including DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, Cognito, etc.
  • Design and implement code using Javascript, React, and Node.JS
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices.
  • Consume RESTful and SOAP APIs and integrate them with back-end processing.
  • Build scalable and reliable backend services that support high traffic levels and user demand.
  • Implement serverless architecture and optimize application performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AWS services and infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS developments and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a strong emphasis on AWS technologies.
  • Proficiency in DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, React, and NodeJS.
  • Strong understanding of serverless architecture and AWS best practices.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage the fast-moving pace and tasks of a SaaS startup

The role will be based at our Pittsburgh, PA office. We're a work-hard play-hard startup that is looking for a Senior Developer that can help the team as we continue to grow our product, and have fun while doing it!
Salary Expectations

Base Pay: $95,000 - $120,000 depending on experience
