If this sounds like a great opportunity, it is! Our Pest Control Technicians are the front line of our business and we know it! By servicing the pest control needs of our customers, our technicians are the primary point of interaction we have with our customers. We do not require you to come into the office everyday, but we do meet weekly in our regional office to stock up on supplies for the work ahead and provide whatever support you might need. Once prepared, you simply follow the assigned route to complete our pest control process and, when necessary, educate clients on proper sanitation and storage practices. IT'S THAT SIMPLE AND NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! We offer on-the-job training to ensure your success!
Specifics:

Job Responsibilities:

1. Enter/exit structures, crawl spaces, climb over and on top of structures, ascend and descend stairs/ladders
2. Read, write reports, and comprehend pesticide labels and training materials printed in English
3. Utilize OSHA-mandated personal protective equipment
4. Inspect for pests, pest harborages, pest entries, etc.
5. Utilize application equipment, inspection equipment, small hand tools, and small power tools
6. Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, seasonal weather, damp and dusty locations
7. Educate clients on proper sanitation and storage practices
8. Schedule new accounts into existing established route
9. Advise clients of the need to perform proper sanitation as part of the pest control program
10. Interface with supervisors in the areas of sanitation and pest elimination
11. Interface with the quality control department when needed for training or resolving pest problems

Requirements

• High school education is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• Successfully meet pre-employment background screen and drug test
• Available to work Monday-Friday
• Attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift 25 pounds and navigate smaller spaces
• Self-starter who excels in self-directed enviornments
