DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is looking for our next Controller to join our accounting and finance team!
DoveLewis is one of the country’s largest single-location veterinary hospitals. The non-profit, AAHA-accredited and VECCS Level 1-certified veterinary hospital has an annual revenue of $35 million, which includes revenue from medical services and donations. Dove does not receive any federal funding. This dynamic organization offers an opportunity for its Controller to work closely with the CFO on the forefront of planning for our future expansion.
As the Controller, you will be responsible for overall management of the DoveLewis finances, the production of financial reports, and maintenance of accounting and donor management systems. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and works closely with our CEO and CAO and department heads across the company to achieve both departmental and organizational goals. This position oversees several members of the accounting and finance team.

They should excel in systematic financial management, ensuring accuracy, precision, and timeliness of reporting, and possess proven leadership abilities for managing a financial and accounting team. Collaborative skills are essential, particularly in working closely with the CFO to support financial strategy.
