Job Title: Manager/Sr Manager Supply Chain

Position summary:

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the Manager/Senior Manager, Supply Chain Operations will independently coordinate activities for both clinical and commercial supply. These activities include clinical and commercial demand and supply planning, label and artwork development, packaging, serialization and labeling operations, and logistics management (shipping and distribution). The Manager/Senior Manager will be responsible for coordinating with Clinical Operations, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs with the objective of establishing a plan to have clinical and commercial supplies available as required to support and maintain clinical study starts and the commercial forecast.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for executing on the Supply Chain and Logistics strategy
  • Manage clinical supply labeling and packaging, and distribution to clinical sites and depots
  • Execute strategic plans with key stakeholders with continuous forecasting, communicating manufacturing needs
  • Support Supply Analytics to streamline platform specific production planning
  • Manage the distribution and logistics of shipments including the optimization of pallet configurations for high value and large quantity shipments, creation of shipping documentation, and proactively planning and managing import/export requirements.
  • Manage the planning and implementation of commercial supply activities including secondary packaging, artwork, labeling, serialization, logistics, 3PL distribution. Collaborate with Commercial to ensure strategy, timelines, risk mitigation plans for a successful global commercial launch.
  • Lead inventory management efforts to ensure robust visibility to materials and products across all vendors. Collaborate with functional leads to make storage strategy and product destruction decisions
  • Lead R&D local labs inventory management and shipping needs
  • Partner with Finance and CMC Program Management for monthly invoice reconciliation for all supply chain vendors
  • Responsible for Supply Chain SOPs and PAI readiness in collaboration with Quality Assurance
  • Maintain dashboards for KPI tacking across Platforms and support cross functional communication.
  • Execute Clinical Supply efforts to ensure all Clinical demand is met as planned.
  • Provide Monthly/Quarterly updates on Clinical Supply and Commercial Supply

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of Clinical Supply / Clinical Packaging / Project Coordination experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO
  • A comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the entire Investigational Product and Commercial Supply Chain
  • Ability to act with clarity in urgent situations and to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Fosters strong relationships and values collaboration to develop and execute on plans and to problem solve
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills for effectively interfacing with suppliers, CMOs and internal stakeholders
