The Position:

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises located in Lacey, WA. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.

This is a full time 40 hours a week position. This is a perfect introduction to a maintenance position in the multifamily world.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.
• Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist in the cleaning of available apartments and or models.
• Assist maintenance team with snow removal (If applicable).
• Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Supervisor
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping, grounds) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)

Skills

• Ability to multitask and manage several responsibilities simultaneously
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
