Water Supply Team Leader

About the Job :

We are seeking a Water Supply Team Leader. In this role, your primary responsibilities include leading / mentoring / developing staff and using your strong technical skills to manage water supply projects within our municipal client base.

Goals & Responsibilities :

This position will allow the ideal candidate the opportunity to :

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical professionals.
• Be the primary point of contact on a variety of water projects throughout the region.
• Be a technical leader within the water supply team, helping team members connect with innovative technologies and treatment practices.
• Foster existing relationships with our water supply partner firms.
• Directly interact with the firm's client managers and executives.

Qualifications & Skills :

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following education, experience, and abilities :

• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Wisconsin
• Minimum of 8 years of progressively more responsible experience on a variety of water supply projects, with at least 4 of those years in a project management and / or business development role
• Experience with various aspects of water supply engineering including planning studies, water supply, water treatment & distribution design / permitting / construction (pipelines, storage facilities, booster stations, iron & radium removal, PFAS, etc.)
• Be team oriented yet individually driven, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, have advanced problem solving abilities, be deadline oriented and be willing to have some fun along the way
